A bit about Len (that would be me)…

FAMILY: Wonderfully married with one son and one neurotic dog.

ACTIVITIES and HOBBIES INCLUDE: Working with other artists; writing music or scripts, playing guitar, and drawing cartoons. I am an avid reader and enjoy writing on various topics. Playing with my son is also a favorite activity. My wife and I enjoy live theater, the ocean, taking walks, hiking, and simply being together or spending time with friends.

TUNES IN MY CD PLAYER OR IPOD INCLUDE: Switchfoot, Paul Baloche, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Matt Redman, Tommy Walker, Love Song, Phil Keaggy, Nickelback, Eagles, U2, Jimmie Hendrix, various classical or jazz, and of course the “Sponge-Bob” or “Country Bear” movie soundtrack. (The list can change and go on for days.)

BOOKS ON MY NIGHTSTAND OR IN MY BOOK-BAG INCLUDE: “Songs From Heaven”- Walker, “The Barbarian Way”-McManus, “God Songs”- Baloche, Practicing the Presence of God - Bro. Lawrence, “The Complete Library of Christian Worship” - Robert Webber editor, a Monastic Diurnal (a what?), a Marvel Comic Novel or Stephen King Novel and of course a Bible.

FAVORITE MOVIES INCLUDE: “The Natural,” “The Last Samurai,” “Shawshank Redemption,” “Shakespeare In Love”, “The Princess Bride,” “Lady In The Water,” “Ice Age 1 & 2” and “Bruce Almighty.”

THOUGHTS ON A PERFECT FREE DAY WELL SPENT:

• Being by water in some form or another. (Anything bigger than a birdbath will do.)
• Starting the day being reflective/contemplative and/or creative. (Prayer, devotion, reading, personal worship, music, writing, etc…)
• Spending time with my wife and son in some activity, exploring someplace new or just simply “being” together.
• Relaxing in the evening with friends and/or listening to or playing good music.
• Putting our son to bed.
• Fixing a late night cup of coffee and spending some alone time with my wife.
• Reflecting on the day in my journal.
• If I can stay awake, either spending time reading, writing, or listening to music.

ORIGINS & EDUCATION: Native of Tucson, AZ, I graduated from the University of Arizona (undergrad B.S. MIS) and completed graduate work (M.A. Worship) at Hope International University in Fullerton, CA.
