Session is the ruling body of the local congregation. Its tasks are to develop ideas, goals and objectives; establish policy, vision and directives for the congregation. It is composed of elected Elders, each with an area of responsibility governing the church. Session Elders are called by the nominating committee and elected by the congregation. They are ordained for a three-year term of service. The Moderator of the Session is the pastor and the Clerk of Session records the Session minutes.
