Iglesia Bethel

Iglesia Bethel is located in Louis B. Sanchez and is shepherded by Pastor Sergio. He and his wife Lydia are actively involved in the ministry. Lydia initiated and is in charge of the Bethel Niño Ministry-a children ministry program supported by Journey Church's Mission Ministry.  As in most cases, the church cannot support a full time pastor.  Consequently, Pastor Sergio work a day-laborer on the surrounding farms during the week. 

Iglesia Eben-Ezer

Iglesia Eben-Ezer is located in a small Ejidos community (i.e., a community the owns and farm their own land) outside Louis B. Sanchez. Pastor Maria is heading the church and is assisted by her son-in-law Fernando, daughter Brenda and other family members. This is a small, but very devoted church. Eben-Ezer is one of our VBS sites and during our last trip (2007) the Eben-Ezer youth participated in VBS as the drama team that presented the Passion of Christ story.

Iglesia Bunen Samaritano

Iglesia Buen Samaritano is also located in a small Ejidos community (i.e., a community the owns and farm their own land) outside Louis B. Sanchez. Pastors Rafa and Chava co-pastor this small church and are assisted by Chava's brother Ángel. This is a close knit church family that is very devoted to their faith. Buen Samaritano was the site of our 2007 construction project. A small team of 5-6 of us repaired some water damage to the walls, replaced the side entrance door, and painted the church. While we were busy with the construction project the local women made new curtains and on the last night in Mexico we could all worship together in a newly painted and clean church.
